He may not be able to be named because that would identify the child. But other inmates in prison seem to have a knack of identifying these kind of prisoners. He must be a very, very worried man.

Well said DEN53 - I am in total agreement with you. All the "do gooders" that say these people can't help themselves etc., wouldn't say that if they were the parents/relatives of an abused child. This is exactly why the courts ordered a ban on revealing this man's identity.
It never was to protect him, it was to safeguard this trial.
