A woman caused criminal damage to my property and the police charged her with the offence but the procurator fiscal never took any action against her, and she never went to court. The damage cost 1986-03 to repair and the woman's husband tried to stop the workmen from repairing the damage and I had to contact the police but he got away without any charges against him. I had to contact the chief constable before the police did anything about the woman in the first instance, as her father is a special constable and I feel that they didn't want to charge her. I have been told that the procurator fiscal never took any action against the woman because the police didn't get in touch with them within a time limit. I have contacted the procurator fiscal but they have refused to overturn their decision so I lost my no claims discount on my insurance policy, can I contact anybody who is over the fiscal and they can force the procurator fiscal to look at the matter again?
