85 Sharia "Courts".......
So how long before they start ritual beheadings and stonings? should local councils create proper punishment areas, or could ritual floggings become public entertainment? I mean half time at the football could do with livening up! Ok it's the daily Mail, but is the figure wrong? I don't think so! Anyway lefties you have my permission to spit out your organic peace muesli!

Being Muslim didn't stop her serving alcohol.

My local curry house, owned and staffed by Muslims, sell every kind of alcohol.
I know a Muslim pub landlord.

My point relates to this - if every Muslim beloved absolutely everything written in the Koran as being gospel (pardon the pun), then I would be greatly concerned...however my mate Habib who had his gay brother officiate at his wedding and my other mate Atir who drinks like Richard Burton lead me to think that this might not actually be 100% accurate.
Does anyone here have any Muslim mates whom they could have a frank discussion with?
Always better to talk with people than getting one's info off the net!

Well said, sp:
Unfortunately I don't even know any Muslims otherwise I'd have no problem having a conversation with them.
Why not? It's the way to find things out, isn't it, communicating with each other?
It's too easy to form misguided opinions about people when you don't even know anything about them or their beliefs.

Hi, long time no discuss? Look, I don't mind looking at a link but, sorry mate, yours would take the rest of the night to get through, and I simply don't have several hours to spare.
One of my observations about a lot of the posts on here is how every time Muslims are mentioned, in any context, it creates such an outcry from loads of people who have nothing but negatives to say about Muslims.
Have any of the protesters actually lost any of their rights as UK citizens because of the perceived threats they portray the Muslims as posing? I think not.
I reckon that it's the baby being thrown out with the bathwater here, and people are scaremongering where their lives haven't actually been affected, but the panic has set in, unjustifiably in my opinion, for I doubt whether any of them actually knows a Muslim let alone is affected by their presence.

Actually, birdie, I think paraffin's analogy with Nazi Germany is pretty apt.
Of course, it's easy to compile a list of reasons why we should deplore them. See, the Germans did it all the time with the Jews:

What they and you singularly failed to acknowledge was that the scaremongering isn't actually grounded in reality. Despite the horror stories, the behaviour of the vast, vast majority of Jews (and the Muslims today) is absolutely fine and pretty much zero cause for concern.
But people do lap all this sh*t up.

Islam forbids alcohol. Carry on making me look stupid, then check out what Islam is about.
I take it you have never heard of RAKI not only do muslims drink copious amounts of the stuff, they actually make it.
Your ignorance of muslims is astounding.
