Okay, a (fictional) snap general election has been called for tomorrow. Polls open at 8am and close at 8 pm.

Please do not vote before 8am - your vote counts though

Who will win

You decide

So come on - if this was real - who would you vote for. Results at 8.30 pm tomorrow!

Why is the general election being held on a Wednesday instead of Thursday?

Why is the normal three-week timetable not being followed?

Why are voting hours not 7am to 10pm as usual?

I would vote for myself, as I did last time.

Obviously because I am bored at work and I know of few companies who close early on a Thursday (no lists please) and I trust that people have sobered up from the weekend  ;-)
Ive put my in the post, but do you trust the royal mail?

What are we voting for?

I don't know, Greedyfly, but I'm voting for Bernardo. He has the best platform I've heard in quite a while.
Can I vote, from the US?  I vote for bernardo as well.
It doesn't matter who you vote for, AB Editor always gets in.

Tory - we must get this lying untrustworthy duplicitous insidious (and other words ending in ous) out: they have proved time and time again they are not up to the job - they got in on the anti-sleaze ticket, but have far out sleazed the Tories.

Perhaps it was time for a change in 1997 - well we've had the change and it hasn't worked: they've reverted to type with their tax and spend tax and spend philosophy which simply doesn't work - as has been proven time and again in the past - and the nannying is seriously starting to irritate me. If I want to eat a bar of lard I damn well will - its my body, so butt out.

I pay far more into the system than I will ever get out, and if I get ill I am very well insured - I also pay into two pensions to look after myself in my dotage: I should be getting an NI rebate, but no, comrade Brown removes the NI cap so I pay even more - and then, just to add insult to injury, because my firm pays for my medical insurance, he bloody taxes me on it. Disgraceful.

I could go on, but am getting wound up, so am going to go and get a nice cup of tea - while I can, before he decides to tax the tea because my firm provides it free of charge.
