Why was Hans Blix the UN chief weapons inspector not asked to give evidence at the Chilcot inquiry?

Never mind about Hans Blix, what about weapons expert the late Dr David Kelly.

If these six doctors get their way, this inquiry could get very interesting, to say the least.

I've got no argument with that AOG but at least Hans Blix is a live witness. David Kelly has already had a post mortem and an enquiry of its own so its one doctors word against another. But like you say these new key witnesses should have their say.
