Why is this marriage news?

Turned on Teletext on BBC TV this morning, and they have space for 10 "News Headlines.

One of those 10 news items was the fact that some slapper whose has huge lumps of plastic on her chest, has married some nobody in Las Vegas.

Is that really one of the "top 10" news items of the day?

Surely we can find some other news (hopefully good news for a change).

Whether you find it interesting or not, the fact Jordan got married IS news. Is is earth shattering? Does it interest everyone? Of course not, but it is news regardless.

The publicity circus that surrounds this slapper, who is a local to me, absolutely baffles the hell out of me, as all she wants is to be in the spotlight........if people are'nt talking about her.......she's not news....thats all she cares about.

You sound asif you're having trouble understanding

In days gone by people fantasised about having talent and being plucked from obscurity to a life of fame and glamour

But they knew they did not have that talent and that it was just a fantasy.

By removing the need for talent people can fantasise about it without the come down of realising that it'll never happen to them.

So the less talent the better!

We see the same thing on quiz shows - not bright enough to win "millionaire"? No problem all Noel Edmonds asks is that you hold your nerve and open a box - anyone can do that.

The One Show is the biggest load of sh1te i have ever seen......what exactly is it's purpose?......it's dated, embarrassing, crap guests, and even the presenters look bored and uninterested.........bring back "Top Of The Pops" or "Tommorrow's World" For Funks Sake..........LOL
