Well I was one of those floating voters, but I think the Tories are convincing me that out of the three main parties it seems they could be the one.

I am ex-army and ex-teacher and I can tell you imposing discipllne in the army is easy compared with teaching, because in the army you get 100% backing whllst in teaching there is little or no backing.
A classroom teacher is frequently not backed by the headteacher who often does not get the backing of the school governors, who are in turn are overruled by the local council and the government., and in most cases the school is not backed by the parents of the child concerned. Even the police are reluctant to get involved for the same reasons.

Whatever party we vote for we will still be in a mess. Ever since WWII this country has gone downhill. We had North Sea Oil and you would think we had the new Texas. But none of it and the profits were siphoned off without the taxpayer seeing any advantage to this unexpected windfall.
We import foreign managers into our football clubs and they nearly always ride high. Its the same with continental footballers who aspire to great heights.
