Reading this thread I can see that some people have got there heads way to far up there own arrses
Trying to convince them that their desire to know all the gory details could actually destroy the new case and allow a (possibly) guilty man to walk free, not to mention the fact that the false allegations over names have already left other people in trouble. It's like trying to argue with a brick wall.
The Justice system in this country (whether you agree with individual decisions or not) is still one of the finest in the world. Miscarriages of justice are incredibly rare; and, despite the media attention surrounding some cases, there are still plenty of bad people behind bars. The decision to release the individuals involved in the Bulger case was made by people with a lot more exprience and skill in the legal system than we posess, that doesn't mean I agree but that I believe we shouldn't jump staright in with our pitchforks sharpened and torches lit.
Unless you have a direct link to this case, or it is proven that Venables or Thompson are still a danger to the public then it has nothing to do with us. Except for the media-induced mob hysteria that is being displayed on websites, in pubs, across canteen tables up and down this country.
