It is only when one reads this link,
"http://www.24dash.com/news/Communities/2010-
05-10-Murdered-Polish-teenager-was-trying-to-
protect-girlfriend
that one is told "Police said the suspect is a black man who ran off after the attack".
Even though it is the 11th teenager this year to be so savagely killed, and one suspects the killers are more likely to be black, it is becoming more and more common for the media to omit the killers colour.

Look at the amount of threads you start about race issues. This is not objective this is blatant race hate

Seriously AOG...this whole thread seems to be a complete mis-step.
If the suspect's race had been witheld from all news media and then when he was apprehended, it transpired he was black, then I'd understand your post.
But all the links we've found thus far prove the very opposite.
When you write "it is becoming more and more common for the media to omit the killers colour", which media are you referring to?

You got it in one Quinlad.
I have however found a report of a fatal stabbing in todays news which fails to indentify the colour of the attacker
// Alan McMullan fatally stabbed 21-year-old Claire Wilson as she walked to her job as a Pizza Hut waitress in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, last June. //

Could it be that if the attacker is black, they are more likely to have their colour described than if they are white?

Same as this BBC news story where they fail to name the actor nominated for this BAFTA award, nor the name of the character he played:
