I know little and care even less about football, but should Lord Triesman have quit?

Almost all the press have joined together to belittle him, and the mighty FA have closed ranks, to try and smooth things over.

But what has he really done, he has opened his mouth about something to do with Spain and Russia, to someone he regarded as a friend.

Of all the reports I have heard, I have heard very little of where he got this information, is it true, and if so why hasn't it been investigated into more openly?

Could it be, that if there is fire amongst that smoke, it won't be made public, because there is far too much money involved?

Exactly, AOG ...

What has he done?

Had a humorous little dig at the Dagos and the Russkies.

Was there any foundation in what he said?

Probably none at all.

That is why several newspapers turned down this ludicrous story, and only that sleazy, gutter rag, the Mail, with it's sleazebag Editor, decided to print it.

There are, nowadays, no depths to which that scurrilous trash rag will not sink.
There is a new "hierarchy" of the British press ...

In DESCENDING order of credibility ...

1. The broadsheets

2. The tabloids

3. The "red tops"

4. The Daily Sport

5. The Morning Star

6. The Daily Mail
