These individuals are not British subjects and have no right of abode in the UK. The government of the UK (via our Security Service) have reasonable cause to suspect that they are engaged or were preparing to engage in acts of terrorism against our country. They are subjects of Pakistan - so why oh why are they liable to torture or death on their return to Pakistan ? Not really our concern just deport them

R1Geezer - the link you posted did say 'The Home Secretary, Theresa May, said she would not be appealing against the ruling, handed down by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission'...

If we are powerless to extradite them once they have reached the courts then why bother going through the loops. At the first suggestion of being involved in terrorism ship them back home pronto. The reason could be they are just undersirables.

Surely the point is sandie if they are as innocent as they claim why do they claim they face torture if they return home ? For that matter why should our courts accept their word that they would be in danger ?
Thousands of Asians travel to and from their homelands every year and they don't face any danger . So why would these suspects be any different.

According to the report he's an Al Qaeda leader, IMO the words 'terrorist' (along with murderer, paedophile and rapist) and 'human rights' don't belong in the same sentence, so why are we continually soft with these people?
