To all those AOG haters

Some on this site have from time to time wished ill of me and on some occasions wish me dead, my heinous crime? to simply post questions that they disagree with, or daring to criticise the acts of some of the immigrants to this country and also those who have committed unspeakable acts, some who's skin colour happens to be different to mine.
No matter what they have done, I have never wished anyone of them dead, I may at times called for the return of the death penalty for some of the most horrific crimes, no matter what their skin colour, but never dead for little reason.
I have been insulted and called various derogative names, such as racist, and a bigot, but I would rather be called all these and much more, than a person that can wish another human being dead.
Even if these accusations happened to be true, to chose between a racist and a person that wishes other human being dead, I would chose to be a racist,, I know which makes a better person of the two.

AOG
No-one here knows you. Your name isn't anotheolgit. That's just a virtual name, and it only represents a portion of you as a whole.
If some posts saying they hate Russell Crowe or Shirley Bassey, they can't really mean they hate these people unless they know them personally.
You should treat AOG as a separate identity - a virtual self which is merely a distillation of your true self.
Whenever I read racist or homophobic comments aimed at me on AB, I remember this "sp1814 is an avatar, not me".

"John Bull is well-intentioned, frustrated, full of common sense, and entirely of native country stock"...
plain, downright, matter-of-fact fellow, with much less of poetry about him than rich prose. There is little of romance in his nature, but a vast deal of a strong natural feeling. He excels in humour more than in wit; is jolly rather than gay; melancholy rather than morose; can easily be moved to a sudden tear or surprised into a broad laugh; but he loathes sentiment and has no turn for light pleasantry. He is a boon companion, if you allow him to have his humour and to talk about himself; and he will stand by a friend in a quarrel with life and purse, however soundly he may be cudgelled."
