The Prime Minister is the Prime Minister whether it's a monarchy or a republic. The Queen's job is very similar to the President of (say) France, or other republics in Europe. If anything, the President of France has more power than the Queen. So if this country became a republic (hypothetically of course) the President could well be Mrs Elizabeth Windsor, or Mr Charles Windsor (or someone else of course).
