Moats uncle, a guns expert and former Army Royal Artillery officer, Charlie Alexander, saw his body in the hospital mortuary and claims there was not a scratch on him from the neck upwards. He is saying he could see any wounds consistent with Moat blowing his own head off.

Got to be blunt and say I don't care how he died, it's just a blessing that he did.
Yes, but it was in the Daily Hate Mail. You can`t believe half the stuff that paper says

It is a Daily Mail Exclusive so I cannot supply another link. Apparently, there is to be a second Post Mortem which might clear things up.

Gromit I see that your flowers are dead . Don't you think you should be replacing them or have
you a more elaborate tribute to make .
He looks OK to me in the photo!
Gromit don't like our Police to harm a hair on any criminal's head, you should know that.

What have you got against policemen Gromit, did one once refuse to tell you the time?
. Is there any truth in the rumour that a certain person is joining the mourners at Moat's funeral apparently there is going to be a good turn out of drug dealers , wife beaters , GBHers and assorted murderers.
dont care how he died he deserved it
Gromit you seem to have a problem with our brave boys in blue did they once put you in a cell ?
I really don't care. He sounds like a nasty piece of work in his private and work life. I didn't know him, he was a risk to society at the time he died, however it happened.
I don't care how he died he was a dangerous man, and deserved to die.
He was a danger! very sad that he didn't get help. he was obviously not mentally stable! he could have hurt even more people if he hadn't have died when he did, however it happened!.........
I think you're missing the point, I don't think there are many people who mourn Moat's passing.
But, if the police shot him, then why not just say so?
His uncle's no expert.....
//Moats uncle, a guns expert and former Army Royal Artillery officer//

Apparently he is.

However, I agree. If the police shot him, why not just say so?
had the police acted on his initial threat to kill, there would have been a different outcome.....the police action must be investigated.

I do not care that Moat is dead, the world is probably a better place without him. I do care however, if he was killed by the police. That may not have happened, and I hope it didn't, but IF it did, then I am concerned.

You cannot have a situation where the Police can dispatch someone without any judicial process. That is what happens in third world countries, not in the UK. It may be an innocent person next time or someone you know.

Mistakes were made, that has been admitted. The police used a weapon they hadn't trained with and was not yet authorised for use on UK streets (though, apparently there was a loophole that it's use wasn't illegal).

This is the first time this shotgun mounted Tazer has been used, and it has resulted in a death. We need to know what happened before this weapons is used again on the public.

No, I do not have a problem with the Police when they do their very difficult job correctly and within the law. I do have a problem if they mess up and lie about it, which may or may not be the case here.
Fair point Gromit, and I can identify my own concern with your last post. Accidents do happen in the heat of the moment, I can only hope we don't get a whitewash but a proper investigation.
The case of the newspaper-seller who died last year come to mind - nobody has even been disciplined (as I understand it) about that - now that doesn't seem right to me.
I was startled (a rare event these days) on B.B.C Question Time when Bob row said a 1000 deaths in police custody and not one conviction.
You're going to struggle I fear with some trying to make an academic point with Moat as your subject.
Are you suggesting that the tazer triggered his finger?
1000 deaths pure coincidence
You can't convict someone if they are dead.
