Are you referring to that woman that stabbed her boyfriend and tried to blame it on road rage, by a group of killers? She then appeared on TV appealing for his killers to come forward.

She has temporary been let out of a open prison, to get a bit of retail therapy training in, to get a feel of life outside.

She could be free next year.

Whether 15years is reasonable for murder or not, is not for the likes of you or me to determine. The Judiciary system gave her that sentence........I didn´t.

No one said it was reasonable. We don't get a choice in the matter. The fact is she has served her sentence regardless of what we think, so getting trips out from an open prison to help accustomise her to life outside is the norm..

begs the question what would you have to do to actually stay in jail for a life sentence. stabbing someone 30 something times seems reasonable enough to me! im not too sure about ehr being let out at this early time.

I thought that it was reasonable to be released when she had done her allotted sentence. OK so far?

Whether or not one feels that the sentence was adequate or not is an entirely different question.

Actually since the prosecution gained the right to appeal unduely lenient sentences and the sentencing guidlines commission was set up (who seek feedback from the public) the judicary have remarkably little leeway

Squad, her alloted sentence was life. 15 years is not life. She is being released just out of her thiries to enjoy a life no doubt funded by the taxpayer at a huge expense to protect her.

Ignoring the fact she should have been strubng up just how do you reconcille 14 years for murder. Yes murder not manslaughter.

This is a disgrace and exactly what encourages vigilantes which really is not an avenue this country wants to go down.
