I am down as saying not all young ones are bad , they are some mighty decent young folks in our country..
but what would be the answer to this breakdown of law and order?

2 compulsory yrs in the Army?
Why should they deal with the dregs of society?

Stiffer sentences?
Prisons are full to overflowing!!

Maybe ridiculing the offenders in, say, large Stadiums? Hell No! HR would have a field day.

Boot Camps run by ex Army toughies?..sounds good to me

not all young people, are they? I think 98% of them are grannies playing their polkas too loud.
Stiffer sentences?
Prisons are full to overflowing!!

So what...still enough room to cram an extra bed in a cell. Better still, take the beds out and give them roll up mattresses...

great idea ummm
Or what R1Geezer says...outsource it. Build prisons somewhere like Thailand and pay them to run it. It'll be much cheaper in the long run and I bet they won't want to go back..!
Question Author
yep, I reckon if they can outsource our banks and stuff, they could do just that at a fraction of the cost it would be to keep them here
I suppose our banks can be considered anti-social :-)

Round here, having an ASBO and your face blasted all over the shops is a status symbol and certainly doesn't shame anyone.

Broken families, and kids only for the sake of getting council house and benefit. No other reasons.

It also sounds good to me.

All school leavers who are not going on to further education, should be forced to do two years either voluntary work or a training course to teach them skills of various kinds, so as to prepare them to take on their role in society.

As Bobbisox points out their instructors could be taken from ex-service personal, and the recruits could be housed in ex-service establishments.ie redundant camps and stations.

This way the youngsters would be taken away from their pals/ home environment.etc disciplined, and taught various skills etc.

Incidentally this training would not be confined solely to the male of the species but the females also.

If only we had politicians strong enough to implement such measures.

I don't Helen, and I agree as jno has posted, in which case I wouldn't differentiate between age groups, if they are too old for to do boot camp, then they should bloody well stop being anti social..or do the 'time'

no worries helen ;-0)
That'll be the problem Keyplus. Broken families...much better to keep the kids in a hostile enviroment.
