Oh dear, oh dear, What a very tragic accident, my heart goes out to her family and friends.
How many times have we done exactly the same, started up the car on a cold frosty morning and then proceeded to remove the ice from the windows?
I wonder how she became trapped under the car especially when her injuries where to the top part of her body? Unless of course she was at the rear of the car.
How could the car start to move unless the hand brake was released?
Would it be possible if the car was an Automatic?
Before anyone criticises me for trying to start some kind of 'Conspiracy Theory' Thread, in such tragic circumstances nothing would be further from my thoughts, I am just curious.

Maybe I'm cynical but I suspect a careless yob gets his come-uppance line might have been more in evidence.

Not specifically an anti-mail comment as I'm referring more to the readers comments rather than the Mail's which I thought were rather more restrained than i'd have expected.
Both cases are tragic accidents but there's more sympathy for someone who I suspect the readers identify with more.
I particularly raised an eybrow at thereader who tried to blame the government for the death of the wheelie bin man due to their 24 hour opening policy.
it seems some people will find a way to blame absolutely anything on their political opponents

Reminded me of a near accident I had some years ago. Our family did our own car repairs due to a lack of money. The car needed propping up so instead of using ramps he supported the car on some bricks. The person doing the repair asked me to get underneath to loosen a bolt which I did. After pulling myself clear the car collapsed to the floor.
Must be a moral here somewhere. It seems like the case above with that woman's car they can be dangerous things even though not be driven.
