"Benefit Cleansing" in London. Boris & Dave disagree

Are the Conservatives in disarray? Is Boris making a noise to save his Mayorship? We will see a U-Turn and the idea scrapped (in London)?

I had to move out of central London recently because I couldn't afford to live there any longer. I've been in permanent employment since I was 17. Boris johnson didn't give me any money to enable me to stay there.
