As the accused is unfit to stand trial there cannot be a murder conviction. The only verdict is unlawful killing, which covers various forms of homicide. Had she been fit to stand trial the verdict would no doubt have been different.
Presupposition than any Murder is <plain and simple>

.
Unless the element of "mens rea" aka "guilty mind" is proven, there is no prospect of a murder verdict being returned. However, as in this case, if a suspect is deemed by the so called psychiatric experts to be incapable of being mentally competent, they cannot be put on trial as a so say "normal" person, therefore cannot be found guilty of murder.

Seemples, huh?
More rubbish imported from Somalia.

Psychiatric experts says she is incapable of being mentally competent?????

She was perfectly normal only the day before, also she knew what she was doing, they have not find the knife yet, and where did she get the acid from and how did she know what effect it would cause if she threw it over the girls
body?

The last person who tried to dissolve his victim in acid was John George Haigh, we hanged him.

I suppose we will have to gently look after this creature, in a nice comfortable hospital, until they release her back on us.
I take it you've never heard of 'Not Guilty by reason of insanity' , nor of 'unfit to plead and stand trial' RIG.We've had similar provisions since the days of Queen Victoria, who, incidentally got very upset by 'Not guilty by reason of insanity" and demanded that the verdict should read "Guilty but insane". She had herself been the victim of a madman's attempt at assassination.Whatever the wording of that verdict, the result was the same.

Are you more upset by this venerable verdict or by the fact that the insane woman is a Somali?
I'm given to understand that stabbing one's own child and trying to dissolve her in acid is unusual even by Somali standards.

According to something I read on an earlier thread, they normally eat their young.

AOG

I have a relative who suffers from a severe form of paranoid schizophrenia, and I know that when he takes his medicine, he's as 'normal' as the next person. This makes him think that he doesn't need medication...and therein lies the problem.

I'd counsel shying away from referring to this woman as rubbish. Without knowing more about the case, I'd suggest it was her mental illness that was a major contributor to her killing her child in such a gruesome manner.
Unfortunately, this might happen to anyone who is mentally seriously unwell - not trying in any way to condone it, but who knows what was going through this woman's mind? The fact that she's Somali is incidental - the mother is obviously very unstable.
