very lucky. fell 6 floors and bounced off an awning. Sounds like something from a Jackie Chan film.

I wonder if she landed on a load of fruit and veg in the market as well?
Is this child neglect?
I recall a similar tale of incredible good fortune many years ago when, at a steam engine rally, one of the steam-driven road rollers jumped into gear unexpectedly and rolled over a small child. A couple of seconds of panic were followed by total disbelief when the child picked itself up and ran crying to its mother. By pure chance the child had been playing on a patch of extremely soft and muddy ground and the steam roller had simply pushed it into the mud rather than crushing it to death.
hello jtp, it's nice to read of something good happening for a change

I am simply amazed at the presence of mind of the doctor to catch her
yes, what a guy !
Wow. It's a bit like the guy who saw a hatch of baby ducks whose mother had loaid her eggs on a flat roof 2 or 3 stories high. He saw them about to attempt their 1st flight and managed to catch them one by one as they fell. Amazing prescence of mind.
and the guy who caught her was a doctor?! like something out of the movies...
And he says he's not a hero. Sorry mate ,but you are !
