The very essence of a university education, lcg, is to escape the rigours that go with being “working class”. The term working class is anyway a misnomer as it is usually used by those who have no intention of working to describe themselves.
Moving on, of course, if those so-called “working class” were not so prevalent there might be a few bob more in the kitty to fund a decent higher education (although as has been suggested by modeller, this should be for a much reduced audience).
All in all, the students involved in today’s outrageous activities should concentrate their efforts on the education they so jealously value (allegedly).

I agree modeller, it's long time since I attended school but I think education is not what it was. One young man who worked in my office couldn't even address an envelope properly, expensive education wasted there methinks.
