"The Ring" is to be made of pure Welsh gold...costing a small fortune

In these times of severe cuts to just about everything,
Do we really need this shoved at us??

I had you down as a Royalist Bobbs! Dunno why.
I'm with the maggot there ^.
Let's just be happy for them, they're a young couple getting married for heavens sake, despite his (then her) titles.
Besides, I love a bit of pomp and ceremony, one of the things us Brits still do remarkebly well, im looking forward to it.

Yes, he is the future king, he has plenty of money and status therefore they are going to have an extravagant ring for their wedding. Not saying I agree with the society that puts people in that elevated position but seeing as they are there they should darn well make the most of it. It makes me laugh when people complain about how the Royal Family behave, they should see the way I would behave if I was Royal I'd be wasting money by the bucketload and not be liked at all.
