No doubt I`ll be working anyway. I won`t get extra money either but here`s hoping my wonderful, considerate employer will give me a day in lieu.
I'll def be working and wont get a day in lieu -private schools shut for no-one :)
Must say jno -like it was St. Catherines day -but feel it was more of a lovely coincedence than anything else -who'll ever know:)
BTW -I really like them as a couple and i'm genuinely happy for them !!

Yeah, me too dris, they are genuinely happy and I too am pleased for them. It's nice to see some happy people for a change, and not sensation seekers or celebs i've never heard of.
No jno, you've got it wrong. Anti-royalists have to stay at home to watch the wedding so that afterwards they can criticise everything and bewail all the money that has been spent on it.
true, Starbuckone, they'll need to be able to criticise the wedding gown properly, won't they.
Incidentally - that girl Kate is a remarkably pretty girl.

Really quite beautiful.

Just thought I'd mention it, in case no-one else noticed.

That'll be a days holiday off of my annual leave entitlement then :(

This hasn't been declared a Bank Holiday at all. It has been declared a Public Holiday. There is a very big difference. As Buenchico has been saying if you want the day off you will have to take it as part of your holiday allowance, that is also true if your place of work shuts too.
