The artist says "I want to shock", has he succeeded?

Should this 'art work' be removed from display?

Could it be just as upsetting as those 'Allah cartoons'?

Do Muslims believe in Angels?

Yet another Muslim artist in trouble, this time by her own believers.

If you're talking about directly above left of the word "the" on the buses signboard, yes, though I'd say It looks more like a womans chest.

What next in the name of reality, "paintings of halal human beheadings"?
It's boring. If he really wants to do something shocking and edgy he should paint a picture of Mohammed having a crap.
through the years religious (Christian) art has produced any number of pictures of saints being tortured, souls going to heaven, souls going to hell. I don't think this is unusual or offensive at all, though sticking it in a gallery window may be insensitive (but I've always thought Banksy was a master of cheap shots). I don't like it much but yes, it's well within the traditions of art.
No doubt he's shocked some people; no, the work shouldn't be removed from display; yes, I expect it could be just as upsetting to some as those Allah cartoons but for a rational reason, and yes, Muslims believe in angels.

It doesn't offend me, but his work is in very poor taste.
Ludwig, good idea, but clearly he's not aiming to shock Muslims.
No, these artists who want to shock never are. The desire to live probably overides the desire to shock.
