/// A total of 47 officers were taken ill after more than 100 lunches were ordered by West Midlands Police from Morris's Meal Machine cafe, in Nechells, Birmingham, during demonstrations between the EDL and anti-fascism groups in Birmingham on July 3 last year.///
70 year old tagged for giving the police food poisoning, when they should have been out bashing the EDL, she is clearly a EDL supporter.

"The court was told some of the officers were left mentally scarred"
We have front line police officers who are mentally scarred after food poisoning! I hope to god they never have to attend a bad RTA.... because I know which of the two would cause me the worst mental suffering and it's not food poisoning!
On another note, I think a tag is a little excessive in this case, the fine would have been enough.

"the cafe was filthy and equipment was filthy."
So, er, why on earth do the police get their meals there? Isn't there a nice little Pret a Manger nearby? O couldn't they just get their mums to make them some sarnies?
Mentally scarred, oh dear. I suppose they'll never be able to deal with victims of other food poisoning again, the flashbacks will be too severe.
