I heard some report on radio or TV yesterday which alleged that the thumping on the window caused some sensor/switch to activate and lower the window. It was not intentional.

they take the wrong route into a demo, then someone opens a window. (It said in the paper this was accidental, but that still doesn't explain how it was allowed to happen.) This all seems extremely lax in terms of security. You have to hope they're learning some lessons here.
