Tremor tonight

Anyone here from yorkshire ? i felt a tremor tonight in manchester
it occurred in ripley according to the news at ten

Yes ladybird49 I'm in Skipton and was sat with my grandson when it felt like a juggernaught had gone by. His empty drinks can rattled and the plants in the living room shook it was very disturbing - where are you?

I bloody miss everything!! We're in N.Yorks and I didn't feel a thing although my husband thinks he felt it. Friend in a town 4 miles away has put on her FB status "Was that an earthquake????"

I'm in Stockton-on-Tees (Near Middlesbrough) and I definitely felt something earlier.

I'm in Manchester and didn't feel anything, think it was meant to be Cumbria, North & West Yorkshire according to Sky News.

There was one a few years back in the middle of the night I definitely felt here!

The largest one I've been in was one of the aftershocks after the Big One in LA, was very wierd!

Not that great a distance between them - the Boars Head in Ripley used to be very nice.....

I live in Buckinghamshire but I remember the tremor the whole country felt about 3 years ago. The chair I was sitting in shook for a few seconds and all the glasses in the cupboard were tinkling. It felt very strange.

ITV News just said it was 3.5 on the Richter scale, based around Ripon.
