A few years ago, the Answerbank supported HTML codes such as <b> and </b> for bold text, <i> and </i> for italicises, and <u> and </u> for underlined text.
Are there any plans to reinstate this?
If we are able to create posts with emphases, it would lead to a reduction in what I can only describe as 'misplaced antagonism'.
I post this in the 'News' section, because this is where all the hep cats hang out (and has the second largest demographic on Answerbank).
is there a chance that the Tutorial at the foot of this page may also be updated to remove all reference to formatting in posts?

You never use to be to type in capitals. Well you could, but it would turn it into lowercase when you posted. I presume the capitals are allowed because we no longer have the HTML codes.
The thing that puzzles me is how to do odd things with the keyboard like for instance I have seen abers doing fancy tricks making a face with 2 Os with eyebrows above & an upside down ?.
