There is apparently 'outrage' at this idea. Whether there is or not, what are our views on this idea? If it can be made to work efficiently, I can't see the problem.

Seems like a great idea to me - cannot see why the heat which would otherwise go to waste should not be used constructively.

I might get a little worried should you start seeing hordes of swimming pool attendants hanging around old peoples homes and the like though......
Ought to cut down on complaints about the water being too cold . . . "Hey, what's a person gotta do to get some more heat in here?!"
Nothing like drinking recycled water - I gather tap water in London has passed through an average of seven people by the time the consumer gets it. Settle for a bit of waste heat!
On the one hand, as long as they're not going to start killing people specifically to use as fuel - what's the problem?

On the other hand - yucky.
I see no problem with that as long as the swimming pool isn't a public one that's in the middle of the crematorium.
Naomi - you could be on to something there - The Cremaquarium!
lol Roger, like the old restaurant sign
"All the water served here has been passed by the management"

I too thought of Aldous Huxley and the joyride on the crematorium's thermal but seriously I think its a good idea.
well its not like you are going to leave the funeral of a loved one and stop off for a quick swim on the way to the wake is it....?

i think its a sensible idea
Aye Naomi, picture the scene: Old Tommy was careful all of his life so he could splash out at his funeral.
Douglas, I like that. :o)
