Denmark vs England

Only a friendly, but would be nice to see a strong performance by the youngsters, who are the future after the Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole and co. era which is nearly up!

Prediction - Dont rule out Denmark they are strong and at home, look out for some familiar premier league faces in their team. England have it all to prove these days I am afraid and are a million miles off the pace set by Spain and Germany.

I think likely a draw 2-2. Perhaps we will sneak off with a narrow win, 2-1?

Doubt you will miss anything, just a run out for them. But will boost confidence for the next "real" fixture if we play well.

we aren't as good as we think we are as a footballing nation and this is down to amount of foreign players. teams don't want to risk players, whereas in italy you have to name so many home players in your starting 11 and must have at least a certain number on the pitch at any time and italy have always been good. (maybe we should follow suit)

We have gone too far down that line now, too many foreign players in the league to try and back track. Although, in theory, would be good for the national side.
