Yet again - it's one rule for Muslim extremists and another for the res...hang on!!!
Can someone PLEASE explain what in God's name is happening here:
http://www.dailymail....remists-face-EDL.html
I thought the accepted line was that Muslim extremists get away with saying and doing anything they like, but if the rest of us did the same, we'd end up in court.
So why on earth have these men been charged?
Is this some big mistake?
Should there be an enquiry?
Or is this further evidence that the 'one rule for them, another for us' argument is...
...poppycock?
(Did you see what I did there?)

/// Around 20 men at the demonstration joined in with shouts of: 'Burn, burn British soldiers, British soldiers burn in Hell.'///
Then why have only two been put on trial?
The whole lot should have been driven round the streets in an open cart, and anyone that supports them should be dragged behind.

SP - “Did you see what I did there?”
Yes.
You've made the suggestion that everyone is treated equally within our wonderfully democratic system. You have used the arrest of these two overtly obnoxious individuals to infer that all supporters of the Islamic faith who profoundly insult non-muslims are treated with the same amount of legal rigour that is normally reserved for those who insult Islam.
Sadly your example, while commendable, is not the norm. If you want further exposition on this particular mater I will oblige.
These two idiots couldn't really have been more insulting if they'd tried. The fact that the police have only had the gumption to arrest two of these muppets speaks volumes about the lengths that the police will go to to attempt to maintain the illusion of 'community cohesion'.
Every single one of these moronically ill-informed buffoons should have been arrested under Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 for deliberately, wilfully and knowingly displaying a sign or other visible representation that is threatening, abusive or insulting, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
But the police couldn't do that could they? They'd be accused of victimisation or maybe even the fictitious condition of Islamophobia.

not so very long ago there would have been pograms caused by this sort of action.. but today we are so politically correct they can do what they like. I suspect they will get a slapped wrist whereas if we were in pakistan or any other islamic country and burned a koran or any other islamic symbol we'd be slaughtered.. these "men" are just hiding behind the fact that they are protected under british law.. well the laws an ass IMHO.
Makes my blood boil this story, equally, I also find it a disgrace that some of out youths don't show respect to our fallen soldiers. I once witnessed a group of boys making fun of a veteran who was selling poppies. He stood there so sad and as we spoke to him about it, he said he gets it all the time from youngsters!
This country need to get a grip with values and show some respect!
