The offer of a ceasefire has come in so that may spin a new light on everything. It will stop moving assets into place as they should now, just in case it is a bluff by Qadaffi.
The man is mad, always has been, and the people of Libya have been living in a police terror state for decades. I have been there and sensed/seen it, superficially I add, but I am more than aware of living in such states - China for example....... How can we condone a man who has terrified,tortured, and killed tens if not a hundred thousand of his people.
Yes we should have moved on Zimb and Rwanda - in the former case, leaving others to act because of our history......But we shouldnt make the same mistake on this despot, right on the underbelly of Europe.
