2 years ago i had this poisonous harpie and her 6 kids move in next door to me,the first week they moved in her kids kicked in a neighbours back wall, vandalised the property i live in i caught them kicking and punching my cat, urinating on another neighbours cat and just constant antisocial behaviour,i called the police and council as she is not a person you can reason with and since then she had 5 of her kids taken off her which she blames me for, she has caused nothing but misery for myself and other neighbour, kicking in my front door, threats, verbal abuse, spraypainted *** on my wall, banging and kicking my front door at all hours of the morning, getting her scummy chav mates to do the same, outside where we live bragging to her friends what she is doing to myself and my neighbour, attacking my cat with her chav dog going for my cat, getting her mates to attack my cat with their chav dogs the list goes on and on, i have constantly contacted the police and the council but they say she hasn't broken any laws so won't do anything about it, can anyone offer any advice on what we can do in return preferably things that can't come back on us as we are desparate as it is making us ill,all help would be gratefully appreciated

I can't understand why the police say she hasn't broken any laws - get them to explain criminal damage and unsociable behaviour and harassment to you - and then point out to them that this is what's happening to you. And as regards haing the children taken off her - councils do not do this lightly and for no reason, she simply MUST be doing something wrong. Find out...

Perhaps you should see a solicitor. You don't have to take his advice, of course, but he might know a way out of your predicament.
Your cat must be quite slow, mine wouldn't hang around whilst dogs attack it.
I'd have to say I couldn't put up with that for a week and would have moved - not an option?
I read a discussion on AB about exclamation marks ending in a '1' just this last week.
and if you contacted the council, did they give you a diary to fill in and advice on their anti-social behavior policy? If it is as bad as you describe then there are plenty of actions the local authority can take, especially i this is LA property .
I think your local police are letting you down. In my area the Police are committed to abolish anti social behaviour and are succeeding. A couple of years ago I had similar problems, for example I saw a young lad ride his bicycle on the roof of my car ! I gave a list of events to the local area police and they sorted it out very quickly. Since then life has returned to normal and the Police keep in touch with me on a regular basis. If I were you I'd insist the police take action.

unfortunately neither myself or my other neighbour she is terrorising are in a financial position to move, also why should we have the stress of upheavel when we just have a live and let live mentality not hurting anyone else in the process

also to the answer for dotty where i live is a very small insular town i had some kid teenager or adult on a daily basis trying to attack my cat so i would say psychologically he is too terrified to move when faced with something larger than himself, he used to be very friendly to strangers now he cowers from anyone who approaches you sir must be fortunate enough to live in an area not populated by 80%mentally inbred chavs
may i ask where you live(just town or estate)desperateforhelp..
I had this type of thing in my last house. It was a nice area when I moved in, then the scum from hell moved in. I spent 2 years of saying "Why should I move I was here first". Then things got so bad I had to leave or go mad, It took another 2 years for the council to re-house Me. The council moved them into our street then had to move all the nice people out, The nice people kept their home nice the scum wrecked their homes.
install cameras high up on your walls, apply anti vandal greasepaint on your walls, that messes up clothes an put up signs warning theyre on film
maybe even buy a dog? a big one...

hello naartje to answer your question i live in a very small town in kent which if you live in any small towns in kent you will know what it is like, arwin i totally know how you feel it is awful that your the one who had to be moved out it is like you are being blamed/punished for others bad behaviour, i shall update you on precedings last night the neighbour from hell beat up the other neighbour that she has been persecuting as well as myself(didnt beat me up just that she is harassing threatening someone else as well as myself) which was awful there was blood everywhere it took 3 phone calls and 15 mins until the police finally arrived the poor women could have been dead by then there were 5 on one very bad form
what a nightmare for you. guess this is a medway town you are talking about. lived in kent for a long time so have some idea where there are a lot of chavs
Well try contacting the RSPCA funny how cruelty to animails get more act than to humans
Dear Desparate. I ran out of breath reading your post. It reminds me of the time I tried Ritalin to see if I was ADD. I wasn't- but man what a ride.

thank you all for your help/advice unfortunately the police have decided to drop all complaints against this woman as she lied about everything and got her mates to back her up they made us feel like we had been the ones doing ii the wrong, they said i just have to accept the fact that she has limited intelligence and feel sorry for her for it, the criminal justice system is a complete farce in this country, we are both now back to square one having to put up with her, so for all you people out there suffering the same fate i feel your pain, advice to anyone who is non chav and intelligent never move to small towns in kent it will be the death of you mentally if you do live there get out whilst you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember the police adopting the same attitude when they tried to move a child molester into the house next door. They have to live somewhere said the young policeman. The lady opposite who had several children immediately said well move them in next door to you, see how you like it. They only lasted there for two weeks - I hate to say it, but the neighbours hounded them out. They would have had a very miserable existence if they had stayed.

desperate, start taking photographs, see if the police will instal CCTV for you so you have proof of all this. This is just not on. I live in a small town in Kent and we have (as yet) nothing like this going on - which part of the county are you?
