I have on any number of occasions.
Annette Curtain was one, and Teresa Green, how could parents not realise what misery it might cause. I like ones that fit the persons job.
One of my favourites has to be Austin Healey the rugby player,

I used to work with a man and his surname was Doctor. That wasn't the problem though: his father WAS a Doctor and he was Doctor Doctor. I hope he's not reading this.
Many years ago, on tv, there was a priest and his surname was Christmas so he was Father Christmas.
Also many years ago, I used to work with a man named Ian Paul Upward so his initials were I.P Upward....

Mary Hale. I read once of a man who had to change his surname by deed poll before his girlfriend would marry him. It was Hogsflesh. Can't say I blame her.

Starbuck, my cyber mam, I had a mate called Ken Hoare who changed his name because of the pronunciation - he changed it to Ken Slack (Slack being a slang term for a *** where we lived)

There's a woman on the BBC and her name is Julia Caesar. I also used to know someone called Wilde Rose which parents thought was a lovely name. She later married a man called BULL and became Wilde Bull.

I visited a doctor once called Doctor Croker, and believe me took all my effort not to laugh out loud. I did ask him if people made comments, which he wryly said they did.
