Whining about having to pay 50% tax on her millions of pounds of earnings! She's a millionaire and needs to wake up and smell the coffee. In the real world people are having to take pay cuts, are losing their jobs, losing their homes

......and she says she can't use public transport anymore! It comes with the territory love, spend some of those millions and employ someone to drive you around

Seems like not-so-little Miss Adele has got too big for her boots and badly needs a reality check

Well if I earned millions and had to pay 50% of my earnings in tax I would be pretty ruffled around the boa myself. Maybe she`ll disappear off to the States to avoid the UK taxes and that would be a few million quid less in the UK coffers.

237SJ......paying 50% tax on e.g. a million pounds still leaves ½ a million in the bank, paying basic rate tax on a mimimum wage job leaves not a lot in the bank........which would you rather do? It's all relative

In all honesty JL if you earned a million pounds and someone was to take half of it off you in taxes for services that you would probably not need because you can pay your own way, would you be happy?

This tax comes in at £150,000 a year....NOT a princely sum for top earners.
If I had a special talent and had worked hard to get to the top....I would be p1ssed off to get 50p for every pound i earned.
