Write-off?
Would you think that this car would be a write-off?
54 reg Focus estate, has done about 75,000 miles, in good condition (before yesterday) crashed into the back of a lorry, will need new bonnet, windscreen, front wing, headlight and surround, front grill and bumper and radiator - those were just the bits I could see - I don't know if there is any more structural damage. I'm going to get someone to assess it today, but think deep down that this may be a write-off - unfortunately I'm only insured for 3rd party, fire and theft.

Thanks everyone, I'm fine now - I got £150 scrap for the car, which paid the police's recovery charge! So we were out looking at cars yesterday and I think that we may have found a replacement for it - another Ford Focus Estate - 4 years old and has only done 12,800 miles. And whatever car we get I'm going back to fully comprehensive insurance!
