A patient was in the hospital recovering from surgery when a nurse asks him how he is feeling.

“I’m OK but I didn't like the four-letter-word that doctor sqad used in surgery,” he answered.

“What did he say,” asked the nurse.

“OOPS!”…

bernie...I had an Australian junior who was always day dreaming (usually about sh@gging nurses) and he was assisting me by holding a clip attached to a tie deep in the abdominal wound. He looked like one of those garden gnomes.
I cut the suture and said OK Laurie.......but he was gone...day dreaming, so i just carried on.

Ten minutes later, I said "Laurie, if you haven't caught anything now, you never will, as i am closing up."
