A man lived in the country where the roads were very winding and there are very few lights.
His friend was arriving at 2am at the airport and asked him to pick him up.
The man agreed, and since the roads were very dark he was driving very slow, when all of a sudden he hit something!
Since he hadn't seen anything in his headlights, he thought he must have hit a rabbit, fox or some other small animal.
He got out of the car and looked around but could see nothing.
Just as he was about to get back in the car he saw a small animal under the tyre.
He had hit a baby pig.
He looked around but could see no houses from which this pig could have come.
He felt bad for the pig, but was running late and had to get to the airport.
He picked up the pig, put him on the side of the road, said a prayer for him and promised himself he'd come back for him later.
He got to the airport in plenty of time, and while he was waiting for the plane to arrive, someone tapped him on the shoulder.
It was a policeman, who said, "I want to talk to you about the pig you just hit."
The man was astonished and asked him, "That happened less than half an hour ago, how did you track me down so soon?"
He replied, "The pig squealed."
