Red Clover For Lawn?
6 Answers
Evenin' all,
I'm not precious about my lawn, it is there for the dog to use and enjoy.
However it looks a bit of a mess with all the bald patches. I can vaguely remember someone mentioning using red clover instead of grass as it is hard wearing and fairly resistant to going yellow with dog errm, 'use'.
Has anyone ever tried re-seeding their lawn with red clover? Did it work? and did it create more lawn mowing than normal?
Thanks in advance for any feedback :o)
Cheers

The RHS website mentions it as "particularly effective at controlling clovers, including the more persistent species such as Trifolium dubium."
