A month ago I posted on a similar thing, that time Google's Women's World Cup search engine.

I was of course once again lambasted for daring to post such thread, stating that these all black silhouettes where just that.
Interesting to see that a few days ago google issued yet another, which again carried all black female silhouettes, except of course this time they chose to show along with the all the black female footballer silhouettes the forearms of two silhouettes one being black and the other white.

And it doesn't end there, while this logo is showing up in the U.S., Google’s Japan homepage includes a slightly different version of the logo without the U.S. flag prominently featured:

Google used 3 Google Doodle banners during the Women's World Cup.
https:/ /www.go ogle.co m/doodl es/?q=W omen's% 20world %20cup
The first banner was for the start of the competition and used worldwide
The second was for the final and was a slightly amended version of the first design. This also was used world wide.
The third design was amended in recognition of the US winning the tournament and was used in the US only
Presumably, whoever won would have had their flag in their region only.

Google and Facebook are completely different Companies.
The Facebook Groups UI design came in 2009.
Social Media is far more popular with women that it is with men.
Facebook's gender slit is about 44% male / 56% Female.
Which is why on the 2015 redesign the female figure as been brought to the front.

Tell me something that I have not already pointed out.
Now answer me this why are all the players black, are they only aimed at black countries?
Why is the stars and stripes only on the US version wasn't it the US who won?
Why is there a whitish hand and arm when all the other skin tones are black.
And incidentally as a mod aren't you supposed to encourage ABers to ask questions that don't break the rules instead of discouraging them by stating th

You didn't say the second version was for the final only.
You didn't say one version was used at the start and used worlwide.
You didn't say the version with the American flag was used only in America.
Hope that helps...

/// aog, I had a quick look at your link to the Daily Mail and I can't see anything about colour. You might be the only one to have spotted that anomaly. ///
No and where have I said you will.
The Dailymail link was regarding the change to the facebook image, which in turn made me highlight the fact of black women footballers on the Google images.
The facebook one obviously altered to facilitate women's equality to men, and nothing wrong in that, so why am so I wrong to point out the inequality between black women footballers and white ones, on the google images?

Am I assuming that each and every player is black and if that is what one calls silhouetting why are the rest of the figures in colour and why the two different skin colours in the centre illustration that shows two hand and arm illustration?
