How Stupid Am I?

Yesterday I caught up with all my crosswords after being out all day Sunday.
I duly put first class stamps on them all and posted them.
What have I just found? Only the completed Bare Bones crossword. I had posted off the empty envelope, to add insult to injury I had put first class stamps on them. Grrrrrrr

i once asked my wife to put a stamp on a competition postcard and post it for me ... she put the stamp on the side with our address and i got it back three days later

I do with most things yes, you aren't alone, I often post quizzes off only to get them back the next day having used my own SAE.
