I am just back from my retirement do at the local hotel. It was a great night seeing all my old colleagues after 35 years working in the paint factory.
The most moving part was when the managing director thanked me for my loyal service and presented me with a cheque...but when I looked at it and saw a voucher for 10 litres of paint, I was overwhelmed with emulsion.
