Red Dwarf returns this evening boasting its eleventh series if any ones interested, 9.00pm on Dave Channel. According to Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) the format and stories are more akin to those from series 3-6. "It's what the fans wanted and preferred".

A Brief Synopsis from the official RD website:

Thanks for the reminder.
You can watch it now if you have Virgin TV. It is like the old stuff, I thought it was charming.
You can download it on Sky too.

I was tempted to watch it on UKTV play but decided to wait, they've also filmed series XII (not Xii Ed ;-) which will be shown in the new year.
Cheers Arky, I'll be watching :-)
Cheers. I'll check it out. Little apprehensive of remakes especially after so long. Do they all have zimmers & wheelchairs in this series ?

OG, I haven't watched it yet, but suppose the cast do need them RDX was shown in 2012 so I'm used to them ageing although Danny John-Jules (Cat) looks ageless, funny enough so does Kryten.

Thanks RandyMarsh and Zac-Master for the heads up if I wanted to watch it before it's screened.
Thanks, arksided. I didn't know it was coming back. I thought series X was quite terrible, but loved the earlier ones.

CloverJo, I don't think its been quite the same since Rob Grant stopped co writing with Doug Naylor after series six. Series seven was disappointing, Series eight had its moments and some good funny episodes although it went against the original premise by resurrecting the ships crew (Based on the fact that Craig Charles was in fact at HMP as it was written). The last Human alive 3 Million years in the future is a scouse slob with a good heart still tickles me.

Back to Earth IX. The Corrie episode when Dave Lister (Craig Charles) meets Craig Charles learning his lines for Lloyd is quite funny. I don't watch corrie but Michelle Keegan in the cabin is brilliant when the Dwarfers are asking directions.

Jesus... I can't remember much else of X.
