I think I've started this post correctly!! have you all had a good day? although the weather here has been Dull, Cloudy, Damp but dry we went out to buy a light weight hover, the amount of people in Walton Le Dale Business Park was unreal, on leaving there, I spoilt her & took her to Matalan, then to top it all for her tea of Chicken, Onion rings, Chips, Salad hows that for a husband, hows your day gone?

Having just retired , we had a late night last night and I had to be up for 9am because local oddjob man wanted to work on Sunday. So that was a shock to system lol
Ok with me I said.
So he replaced a manhole and cover in front garden (old one had rusted away) and same in back garden. Replaced a floodlight in front on house (old one was leaking water and build went quickly). He then put a new plunger type plug hole in granite sink in kitchen. Then replaced plastic vent on tumble dryer air outlet (old one had a flap missing and I could imagine mice getting into pipe).
All jobs done one 5 hours , gave him £105 and all is well.
So even thou I did very little , it still feels productive :-)

My day started off wonderfully well, then deteriorated rapidly. Things are better now, though.

Chicken and onion rings with chips sounds a bit 'dry' to me. I'd have asked for a sirloin steak.

Just been chatting to a friend. She said she popped into Asda after church to get some milk and cheese. Came home with a new hairdryer, iron and kettle. Well..............they were half price ha ha. PS she did remember the milk and cheese!

I had my granddaughter round who just makes me laugh so much! She has a thing for 'The Wizard of Oz' film at the moment, re-plays it loads! After she went home I messed around with a new food processor I bought over Christmas x

Been a dull, miserable, overcast sort of day here
in Hernia Bay. Took the dogs out between 15:00 &
16:15ish, was actually quite pleasant as there was
virtually no wind.
