What can be done about it apart from stretching piano wire across the road? I also understand the police wont give chase if these thugs remove their helmets in case they get hurt. Why does it matter if they get hurt or even killed? At least it's one less piece of thrash roaming the streets.

I feel for the poor police officers who are (at present) "damned if they do chase and vilified if they don't".

Perhaps you should let the Police know how because I cant see an easy way. Once in a housing estate thats it unless you have the choppers and/or dogs out. These scum know this and are playing the lefty liberal justice system we have.
