I know where some foxes are living and I walk down every day (three times on a non-school day) with which ever children want to come - tonight we saw a grown fox with five cubs. It was lovely to see - the grown-up came out first to check it was safe and then the cubs came out whilst the grown-up kept popping up to check they were safe. Got some binoculars ordered so we can get a better view :)
Beautiful sherrardk. I live on the edge of a forest and love to see the foxes, badgers etc.
How some people can find pleasure in killing these animals (fox hunts, badger cullings etc) is beyond me. Psychopathic nutters.
Enjoy it, nature at its finest.
It was fab, the person who owns the field knows they are there and she feeds them to stop them eating the ducks and wild rabbits. The only problem is the things are a bit too short and too heavy for me to pick up so we have to take something for them to stand on so that they can see too.
Sherrardk,
I live in a high rise flat but often throw any leftovers out of my window (despite receiving letters from my council about it) for the foxes.
Chicken carcasses etc. Love to watch them.
Their poo reeks and they scream at night...oh and they carry fleas and ticks. I don't wish them ill and love to see them in their proper place which is not my garden.
I still have lovely memories of a summer night years ago out for a walk with my gorgeous and much missed German shepherd. We were on top of a ridge and just sat for ages watching some cubs playing. Dog was as fascinated as I was.
FOXES ARE BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS. SO MUCH FUN WATCHING THEM.IF YOU HAVE A CAMERA IT WOULD BE NICE TO TAKE PICTURE OF THEM AND MAKE A PICTURE BOOK OF THEM AND OTHER ANIMALS YOU HAVE SEEM.
