Should have retired when he realized his injuries were so severe....has family to consider also , plenty of business interests to occupy him.. I wish him well and thank him for the exciting times he gave us....
A premature end to an excellent career. He can look back on his achievements with immense pride and, hopefully, he could take up a coaching role to pass on some of his skills to our younger players.
Very sad news. What a star he is. Unfortunately I thought this would happen soon. No way he can play in pain, especially with all the young guns coming up.
Sad day for Scottish sport. I think he should go now, as you say health come first. He doesn't want to end up in a wheelchair. I certainly don't believe it's karma.
