Perhaps the Pakistani bus driver's son should also realise that when given chain of office as a Mayor of London it is encumbent upon him to attend and not snub the state banquet given by his Sovereign Head of State Her Majesty the Queen. Trumpo cancelled Poland and stayed around

and THAT was because of the appalling showing of FEMA over New Oreleans Hurricane where the chief fiddled.......and did nohting

so this time he stayed.... but what to do?

FEMA did so badly - they even have changed its name - NOMA apparently
the chief of FEMA ( NOMA that is!) is a political appointee, and this one was right for the job ( Trump liked him or his wife or both) and had no experience at all in emergency mgt.

You were probably playing in the park with your little skateboarder chums wnen we had the lead up to the London Mayoral election.
All the newspapers,which you don't read, and TV news anchormen/women started off with, "Sadiq Khan, the son of a former London bus driver from Pakistan, Blah Blah Blah" It became a standing joke around here just like he is. When you met someone in the pub or supermarket the opener was, "Did you know the propective new mayor is the son of a Pakistani bus driver?"

I can understand the peg that Mr Khan originates from humble origins in the run-up during his mayoral campaign, but I'm not sure it is relevant here.

Clearly there is a long-standing animosity between these two, and Mr Khan is not going to waste what he sees as an opportunity to have a pop at the President.

It's not dignified for two politicians to snipe at each other via social media, both of them should exhibit the gravitas of their appropriate offices and act their respective ages.

Changed your tune rather. Often when you rant about POTUS you claim he never was or is a politician. Just a busnessman.
I agree that Khan was never a politician either. Just a member of the Labour Party and a member of an ethnic minority who happened to stand for and won the mayoral election. For what good he has done for Londoners and the embarrassment of the nation.
