Away For Christmas.

Going to daughters as usual for Christmas. Going tomorrow. It's going to be very noisy!
There are the five grandchildren, 3 dogs and 2 cats. Then on the day, daughters friend is coming with 4 children and 2 of our friends are coming to for the day.
We have stopped having the traditional Christmas dinner now. We get all the party goodies from M & S. Daughter cooks a couple of roasts, roast potatoes massive salads, Xmas puds and other desserts too.
We eat and drink far too much, play lots of silly games and have a super time.
So happy Christmas everyone, I hope your day is as happy as ours.

Tired people in this house today so hope we all get enough sleep. I was in Norfolk for my mums birthday and my son got back from Ireland today. He has work tomorrow as well...

Not feeling it this year. Teen Smow is working tonight till 4 am tomorrow, then he will have to sleep and get up and do same Xmas Eve, not getting in till same time Xmas Day. Mr Smow working all day tomorrow s im not going to see anyone till tomorrow night lol. Xmas day at in laws then all back at work on Boxing Day

I remember going to Christmases like that when I was a nipper. Alas, things change but have wonderful memories.
The day itself will be quiet here but am expecting a houseful on Boxing Day - there's a birthday :-)
Then all quiet on Friday when work beckons for the workers.
