Huh,welcome to 21st century Britain,Dermot.Even if they get the culprit they wont make them give your belongings back,they wont charge them and if your lucky the police wont charge you for wasting police time.You will however get a piece of worthless paper to fill in and a crime number.Sorted.

"What about data protection". There is no data involved in showing someone's face. Data protection laws govern how a company uses customer data which can identify a living person. For example, name, address, DOB etc.
